Lauren & Robin first met me at the Wedding Ring Show, where they proceeded to stop in their tracks at a certain photo I have of my clients having a light sabre battle. You see, they will readily admit that they are nerds themselves (their words, not mine!) and needed a photographer that understood their wedding would be elegant, but nerdy in its own way.
When Lauren told me they were being married at Cellar 52 in St. Jacobs, I was so thrilled for them! This venue is new to the region and Kate, the owner, runs it beautifully. The building is from the 1800’s and the old world charm can be found in every nook and cranny, even with the renovations they’ve done.
The day was a beautifully elegant affair, with the two of them sharing their vows in an intimate ceremony, followed by a yummy dinner by Little Mushroom Catering. It’s no secret that food is my love language, and I discovered it was Lauren & Robin’s too!
Fun speeches, a perfectly choreographed first dance courtesy of Fred Astaire Dance Studios, and we finished off the evening with night shots in front of the patio lights.
Congratulations to both of you, and thank you for having me along to share in your journey! Here are some of my favourite images that tell the story of this lovely wedding day…
